Jerome Aigoin drove a stunning 1-hour long final to win the 2011 Montpellier GP, in the early stages Martin Bayer had the lead, it wasn't until 20mins in when Jerome was able to catch and a huge battle insued, it looked like Robert Batlle may have joined that fight but wasn't quite able to close the gap. Brother Yannick was fighting for podium spots but had two flame outs which cost him any shot at victory, likewise former leader Bayer suffered the same fate. This promoted Savoya who will be happy with a 3rd place finish on his European debut with the Durango. Qualifying saw the strength of nVision engines but a Novarossi 1,2 wasn't a bad response from the Italians engine giant. read more
